Route: Mount Bailey Trail
From near the southern shore of Diamond Lake take USFS
Road 4795 south and west and turn left on FR 300 (dirt) to the Mount Bailey
Trailhead (#1451). Climb this trail about 4.5 miles to the summit ridge.
Follow the climbers trail along the ridge as it skirts rock walls to the
left (west), climbs a short rock wall, and follows the ridge top to the
summit. Total round-trip distance is about 10 miles with a 3000 foot elevation gain.
